Jennifer Vaught, March 30 through 31st
Gaited Horse Clinic

Retha’s View:

One of the MOST intriguing classes, was how do I hook up with my horse.  Jennifer was in the corner, flag in hand, other participants, I think about 7 or 8 horseback with flag, in a circle around that corner……owner is on the ground and trying to get her horse to hook up with her, ie, follow me.

The horse ignored the owner, I’m diving through the crowd, and the people on horseback would flip their flags at it.  It was amazing to me how short of a time it took, for the owner’s horse to figure out. I’m following you.

I have encouraged many of our boarders to do this.  Some horses come to the gate when called, yo, there you are; others choose to ignore and the owner has to go down and get them.

I, personally, have learned so much from all the clinics and the different styles/training methods from the clinicians.  It goes to show all of us, YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW!

Jennifer Vaught is coming back to Sitter Downs Arena!
This time for an exclusive Gaited Horse Clinic!
All gaited breeds welcome!
